Helpers for Sunday

Do you want to be part of making Sunday special at Unity of Dallas?
We have multiple ways you can be a part of the magic.
Fill out the form below and the team leader will get in touch with you.

Unity Kids

Do you like to work with children ranging from infants to teenagers? We have separate classes for each age range [Nursery & Unitots - 0 to age 4; UniKids - ages 5 - 5th grade; UniTeens - 6th grade through 8th grade; YOU (Youth of Unity): 9th grade - 12th grade]. We are teaching our students Unity principles using the Online Curriculum from Unity. Background checks are required.

Greeters

Volunteers at the Welcome Desk greet newcomers to Unity of Dallas. They answer questions, share our Events Flyer and Brochures about Unity, offer a Guest Card packet and make all guests feel welcome.

Ushers

Usher Volunteers take up the offering collection in the Sanctuary for those who wish to donate during the service. For those donating electronically, there are laminated offering cards you can pick up on the way into the service to drop into the collection bags.

Music Team

If you’d like to be part of the CommUNITY Singers or Voices of Unity Choir, they rehearse on Wednesday evenings starting at 7:30 pm. CommUNITY Singers rehearse at 8:30 pm for half an hour on Wednesday and gather to rehearse on Sundays at 10 am. On Sundays when the Voices of Unity choir sings, call time is 9:30 am.

Audio/Visual Team

Additional hands are always welcome to help run the Livestream broadcast. You will need to be able to climb the stairs to the AV loft and be familiar with PowerPoint.

Platform Assistants

These volunteers help on the Sanctuary stage during the service with Announcements, the Offertory Blessing and occasionally introducing speakers or other guests.

Kitchen Angels

These volunteers rotate Sundays throughout the month to either set-up or clean-up for Coffee & Conversation OR our Monthly Potluck Lunch. Kitchen Angels will also help with special holiday meals like Thanksgiving (the Wednesday night before the holiday), but extra volunteers help out to make it all happen.
